2006 2.5T Front bumper removal

I'm trying to replace the upper grill (the one containing the Ford emblem) and seem to have to remove or release the whole front bumper assembly. What do I need to remove?

Four or five torx bolts on top edge iirc grill clips into bumper but not 100% sure if you can remove with bumper still attached to car.

Mirez will be able to give a better explanation.

No he wont! Not played out around with the S-Max that much. What I can tell you is that it can be taken off without removing the bumper, looking at this image would suggest there are 3 clips that hold the two together:

Thats a facelift grill but the pre-facelift's bottom end looks identical.
