Hi all,
I need help with respect to putting new wires inside the door gaitor. As those in place now are broken very early, I am thinking of renewing all wires. The connector looks as in the picture.

So, the problem is how to remove the pins from the connector and from where new ones may be purchased...

Any help highly appreciated.

 welcome5

why not just add some more wire and strip/solder and shrink wrap back together, this is a common issue on these cars as you have found the wires are too short and snap.

Hi Gregers,
thanks for a fast response. What you suggested would be an obvious fix. Do you have any experience if this will hold for a sufficient time (years) in rather harsh environment (Finland + kids)?

hi mat,yes if done properly then it shouldnt need redoing for a long time, but that depends on the state of the wires your soldering too?

obviously the same gauge wire would need to be used, and heat shrunk etc.your local electronic retailer should be able to help?
