Galaxy 2.3 x reg , all doors wont open????

Hi all, got a knock on the door last night, a lady asked if I owned a galaxy I replied yes she said it was making a funny noise, went out to investigate however the noise had stopped, but I couldn't open any of the doors, my key doesn't open the front drivers door anyway nor the passenger side, I have been having to use the boot and it central locks all the doors apart from passenger rear, been like this for a while now but now all I can do is open the boot, none of the other doors open even from the inside and the car wont start or do anything?   Any ideas ??   Thanks joe

I'd say you almost certainly have multiple wiring shorts within the door wiring. It's fairly common place but you really should have addressed it much earlier to avoid further locking issues, flat batteries and burnt out motors.

My suggestion would be that you've got a short causing one of the motors to drive permanently and the dead locking is still active - you'll have to climb through and open the bonnet and then check the battery voltage - I suspect it will be well below 12V and hence that's why the car's not doing anything. Hopefully with a new/charged battery you'll be able to de-activate the dead locking and open the doors.
