One of my Mk2 Galaxies has a failed NS Front electric window where one guide had worked loose and twisted slight, causing
the nylon block holding the glas clamp to breal off the glass cramp.

I have ordered a new replacement "copy" unit online and hopefully should be complete (less motor).  All else works but the missing
clamp and I am looking for any issues/set up instructions/exploded drawings for when i replace the unit.

I am a technical engineer so should be no problems, but are there any "gotchas" in this?     Door internal exposed and ready (!)

Both clamps have broken off, so what is needed to set the "up" and "down" positions and are there any issues in refitting the motor?

The only calibration needed is the end stops once installed. Basically run the window all the way down by holding the button in, when it gets to the bottom hold it a few seconds longer then release. Then try and put it down again for a few seconds - thats the lower stop learned. Repeat for the upper position and you should be done.

There is some adjustment in the clamping mechanism for skew and fore/aft so do it up semi-tight and run the window up/down a few times before the final tighten.
