Hi All, the stub shaft that goes into the gbox stripped, so I bought new. Just managed to get the bolt in having overcome the stub spring compression pushing out, but does anyone know what the torque setting for that hex bolt is please?  Had a good look round the site but can't find it.

Hi and welcome to the site.
A specified torque for that bolt is a bit vague, it's not listed in Haynes
The TIS manual only lists the AG5 auto box which is a similar setup and that is 25Nm or 18ib ft

With VCDS lite (full version) need a code clearing or want to scan for faults in the north kent area, PM me. All for a pint of Strongbow.

Cheers, hopefully that's ballpark if I can't find anything. It's not a common job so probs only in detailed manufacturers data.
