Hello everyone, this is a lighthearted post instead of the usual ones about turbo vanes and strut mounts etc lol

Does anyone have any nice photos of really good Galaxies or Alhambs?

The sorts of car where you look at it and think wowwweeee!

Thank you!!
I drive a Seat Alhambra 1.9Tdi which has 115bhp and an automatic gearbox.

I am happy to help you with all your questions. I am not a qualified mechanic but seem to be better at fixing my car than even the most experienced garages.

I have lots of friends here and very much enjoy talking with you all. Always remember, a motor car is a serious tool and should be treated with respect. Put your safety first, always.

I must get a few pics of my own! But I always loved this one..

I wonder what front splitter is on this one?

I notice that the vehicle in the two larger photographs has retained the long black plastic trim underneath the doors. I purchased my 09 Alhambra in 2011 with this trim in situ, and it took me some while to realise that in fact this trim serves no useful purpose and simply acts as a trap for moist debris thrown up by the wheels. I removed the trim three years ago and had the corrosion found behind the trim repaired and all the fixing holes filled in. The exposed area under the doors was finished in black stonechip paint to continue the black line of trim skirting the front and rear bumpers. The cosmetic effect is perfectly acceptable, to me at any rate, and I feel more confident now that I can keep ahead of corrosion in what is obviously a vulnerable area.

This is my one! Found a pic on my phone. 2010 SE-TDi 140 :)

What a lovely looking Alhamb, sitting in the evening sun. Clean glossy bodywork and those wheels look so smart! I?ll bet it?s a smooth, comfortable drive too. Thank you for sharing!

Far too many Bamma's going on here :)

From 2014, the last time she did any real work :(

These are very posh looking cars, yours looks like a sports car in some ways Mirez and I really like the lovely chrome roof bars and the way it looks so nicely waxed (big beads of water on the bodywork). Mine doesn't have a sun roof, it must be lovely having that feature.

Haha yeah it was part of the prep for that road-trip, a service and a top level valet!

I always wonder where this car ended up from the facelift launch, the only Galaxy I've ever seen in Ford ST Performance Blue...

That blue colour is jaw droppingly stunning, it's my favourite colour in general actually!

These cars look amazing

When I was looking for my first 7-seater back in 2005/6, I was much taken by the Galaxy in Ford Pacific Green with cobweb alloy wheels and the 2.3 petrol engine. Had I been able to find one, I think LPG conversion would have swiftly followed, but one never came my way and I stuck with diesel. Even so, if a clean example in Pacific Green turned up, I would be sorely tempted even now to put it on my driveway....
