Hi i am looking at upgrading my Speakers on my 2004 Alhambra
I donââ,¬â,,¢t suppose anybody has upgraded theirs ?
And know what sizes the dash , Front doors, Rear Doors, Rear quarters are?

I didnââ,¬â,,¢t upgrade the speakers but I put a new head unit in and a small sub woofer and that made it go a lot louder
I drive a Seat Alhambra 1.9Tdi which has 115bhp and an automatic gearbox.

I am happy to help you with all your questions. I am not a qualified mechanic but seem to be better at fixing my car than even the most experienced garages.

I have lots of friends here and very much enjoy talking with you all. Always remember, a motor car is a serious tool and should be treated with respect. Put your safety first, always.

Hi thanks for reply Any pics of your Sub install?

A Stylance will have the 8 speaker setup from factory, the rear doors are daisy chained with the ones in the boot so so you need to choose replacements carefully and manage the impedance to avoid blowing the amp in the head unit. Alternatively you could disconnect them but then you've lost output that you may potentially gain in replacement speakers.

The door size is 16.5cm but you are restricted by depth due to the window glass so there aren't many upgrades that are worthwhile. I also have a sub setup which is the better route IMO. There is space under the drivers seat for an amp and then its just a case of where to put the sub itself. You could also get the all-in-one boxes and mount that under the seat, they aren't as effective but will add punch.

Hi yes correct it is the 8 channel setup , OK so both front and rears are 16.5 cm ? Any idea on the dash board mounted ones or size of the rear quarter panels?

Yeah I have seen the space under the seats quite usefull.
