Chatting to my lad about our cars and he asked if mine had a cat
and I was bit stumped as I realised I'm not sure what's under there.

Too cold/windy/wet to go out and grovel underneath to look
so MKII Galaxy , 2004 on a 53 plate, 1.9td 130 Zetec
do I have a CAT, DPF or just a plain old exhaust?
TIA

You will have a cat, but no DPF, be grateful for that.

Yes I agree, a catalytic converter but no DPF.
I drive a Seat Alhambra 1.9Tdi which has 115bhp and an automatic gearbox.

I am happy to help you with all your questions. I am not a qualified mechanic but seem to be better at fixing my car than even the most experienced garages.

I have lots of friends here and very much enjoy talking with you all. Always remember, a motor car is a serious tool and should be treated with respect. Put your safety first, always.
