Does anyone have the soft coding for the instrument cluster for a TDI Galaxy Ghia?
Have lost the piece of paper that I wrote mine on!

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Mine currently reads 12411, whilst going through the recoding using vcds it does state that 08=full fis 04=washer fluid no other equipment fitted, but this doesnt give me the low washer fluid warning? Any ideas?

12xxx is incorrect then.

Full FIS is EEPROM coded and nothing to do with the softcoding so not sure where you're getting that from? This means your current 12 code is turning on Seatbelt warning audible alarm, and seatbelt warning for both driver and passenger seats which, without the appropriate buckles, will just be putting the seatbelt light on for a few seconds when you turn the ignition on and nothing else!

You need 05 or 06 as your first part depending on if you want the brake pad warning on/off. So your code will be 05411 or 06411 accordingly.

The only change you need to make for a full FIS unit is if you have the factory NAV or a VW unit and want the secondary display to be controlled by it, that is the UPPER section for track info etc...

Okay here we go then
Changed the originall galaxy clocks for six dial, being the lazy git I am didnt bother to change the eprom to the downloaded galaxy one (original), when scanning car for aux heater faults noticed that it also had an immobilizer mis match, so reloaded original eprom and now get TCM no communication? Any idea how to edit out the VW clock immobilizer and I'll reload the VW eprom?
By the way tried thise codes for the soft coding, and i lose the full fis display?! Cant figure out why though

Interesting... well you can try 21411 but that *shouldn't* make any difference to full fis.

I'll have to have a rummage for the EEPROM data...
