Injector harness fault?

I've hardly put any miles on the thing this year and its currently in dock for
outrigger welding and a new front shock for the MOT
But
The few times I have used it I sometimes got an intermittent loss of power
like it was dropping out on a cylinder at times.
Reading up I see injector harnesses  mentioned as possible causes

Youse guys reckon it's  a likely suspect?

When I get it back I want to have have closer look at it and
see harnesses ranging from Ã,£19.99 to Ã,£39.99 on Ebay which look identical
any recommends/avoids on these?

If you suspect the harness it should be logging a fault code for that, in any case its worth a look with vcds before you start getting further.

The harness can go bad and not log faults on these, mine did just that. You can check measure blocks for injector deviation.

As rocker cover needs to come off I would change for a new harness as I donââ,¬â,,¢t think they are much more than what you have seen used ones for. Also worth a look at the cam as lobes can wear on the PD engines

Today I used it to go and fetch a a few things and on the way back it started to run rough as a bears ass.

When I got home I got out and used the phone to record the thing before switching it off.
After a restart I recorded it again and it was back to normal!

I suspect a dodgy connection on the injector harness but will order a rocker cover gasket
before getting in there
I'm umming and ahhing over finding/fixing the bad connection or just getting a new harness

Here's the before and after vid on Imgur ( you may need to enable sound to hear it)

Fixed it
No 1 cylinder connector felt a bit wonky so I removed, cleaned and nipped them all up a wee bit
and reassembled it
Running fine now
I did a vcds lite check today and it had a fault code logged of
18074/1666 'Electrial malfunction - interrmittent' on cylinder 1
Cleared codes and it hasn't come back. so hopelfully that's that.
