Good evening.
Dear friends, I have a problem with my Galaxy Mk1 1999 1.9Tdi 110Hp.
I notice that I run out of battery, and that by turning off the van, the cooling fans are working. And I think that sometimes even working without reaching a temperature also works.
My doubts, and if it will be some control relay, the other big relay that leads the way, which I think is the fan control unit.
Can you help me? Thank you.
I already looked at the damage library, but as the topic appears for the 2001 galaxy, I wanted to confirm that the resolution is the same

I think you will find the fan control on the mk1 is down the front of the bonnet area, near to the battery. The mk2 doesn't have the same setup for controlling them though. At least my mk1 had that setup, and my mk2 doesn't. But both of mine were petrol versions.

There is a fan switch somewhere in the cooling system, it might be worth unplugging that and seeing if the fans still run when they shouldn't be as if thats failed it may keep them running on. Not sure if it would do so after turning off the ignition though.
