Hi there folk im in need of some help and advice, i have just joined the site so be patient with me as just getting used to this, right to start on a very clear note i have big issues with the stereo/cd player in my ford. about a month ago my partner and i were driving listening to music and we started to hear crackling/half the music, then when i went to turn up and down to see what was wrong the speaker stopped working all together, now there is nothing wrong with the unit as the fuse in the back of it is still new and not blown, also the connections from loom are good. i have checked all the wires for looseness and i have also pulled all the fuses out and put back in and not one blown so not fuses, i have not checked speaker yet as not sure how to test them induvidualy. i know also there are two more levels of relays behind the normal fuse panel but not sure if any of these control the stereo side of things, i have checked the manual but the wireing very complicated in some part and cant follow.

i will try this tomoz, cheers for the reply, DO any relay fuses behind the normal fuses have anything to do with the stereo side of things :)

could be a wiring fault in the door jambs. wiring is known to either totaly snap or the insulation on the wiring break and touch other wires to short out. had this issue on mine  :) just pull the rubber gaiter back in between the doors to inspect it  8)
