Hi, I'm looking at changing from a mk2 to a Mk3  and I don't know hardly anything about the new engines.
Could anyone advise me on their pros and cons please.

i'm not particularly bothered about speed or acceleration (but I have ruled out the 99BHP) I'm more interested about the reliability and longevity.
