WTF? Where's the old forum gone?

Yes I know and I'm sorry!

For those that are interested, when we set-up the original forum it was supposed to be a stopgap whilst another well known site was down - traffic picked up quite nicely and we decided to register and keep FordMPV.com as a fully fledged site. The old site was based on free outdated forum software which was restrictive to growth and lacking in features. Upgrading between V1 and V2 is notoriously hard and can often cripple the site for a number of days so a decision was made to abandon the old version - port the information across and relaunch with V2.

And that's were we are today, 06/02/12! SMF 2.0 is much improved over V1 - we can therefore launch our site safe in the knowledge that we have software that is feature rich, expandable, adaptable and "future ready" whilst also being more secure and user friendly.

The two big downsides are a loss of the member base (for which I'm extremely sorry!) and there will be a large time delay whilst the search engines catch up!
