Where is the central locking control on the 2003 Galaxy?  I have looked at the wiring many times and now think I should check the central locking control module.

Many thanks

On the Square

Good morning. Is it on the Body Control Module please.
I drive a Seat Alhambra 1.9Tdi which has 115bhp and an automatic gearbox.

I am happy to help you with all your questions. I am not a qualified mechanic but seem to be better at fixing my car than even the most experienced garages.

I have lots of friends here and very much enjoy talking with you all. Always remember, a motor car is a serious tool and should be treated with respect. Put your safety first, always.

It is part of the fuse box module. Zee unit/ BCM whatever VW call it

Rather than the wiring, it can be a faulty lock motor causing issues. one duff motor can affect others, easiest way to isolate is to unplug the doors one at a time and see if that stops the problem happening (if its a couple of doors failing to lock or unlock or locking and then unlocking straight away).
