how do i set the temperature low on the climate control please ?

If its the same as the Ford module, repeately press the blue button below the red one will lower it by 1 degree for each press. The lefthand button does the front (which if your AC works will be cold) the righthand one does the back (which will be either unheated if you have the standard system, or cooled if you have rear AC - If this is fitted, there should be vents in the roof for it)

on manual setting , once you go below 18.c it just says lo. then you hit auto and it goes to 22.c  ?

My old mark 2 you could set the temp and hit auto and it would adjust fan accordingly to keep at temp I set. Wonder if there is a coding issue or something going on unless the mark 1 works differently to the mark 2

My mk2 with the roof vents in the rear does the same does down to 17 then lo hit auto goes to 22 front and back. Im assuming its normal

Mine does as well, I'd assumed it was normal but maybe not. Doesn't help that mine has the flashing display issue when first switched on, which i suspect is indicating an error of some sort. Does yours do that Jakehands?

Yes the flashing display does indicate an error in the system.

When you say it reverts to 22 on auto can you change temp and it stays in auto still?

Mine did do that when the starter motor was playing up so im assuming it could be linked or down to relay 109 failing maybe? Also check your door led as that can give same syptoms (i cant start my car if i leave the car on before ignition but can go from off to ignition and it starts :S) Mine would go full whack then off till i changed the starter, and as soon as i adjust it from auto at 22'c wether front or rear it turns auto off (may have been recomended temp at the year of manufacture? Im not sure to be honest)

I've had mine regassed today - 82g recovered so there must be a leak somewhere, suspect the dryer cap to be the cause. But on having done so, mine now stays on auto down to 17 degrees (set on lo auto switches off) which is different to what i had before.

Its still got a flashing display, so suspect its still got an error logged that needs clearing, thats the next thing on my list when i get chance.
