Hello,

I.would.like to wire my rearview camera to my android head unit in my 2000 Ford Galaxy.
I wanted to ask wher I should go through with the wire. Ceiling or floor/doors ?
Thank you for your help

Not sure. I'd probably just run it under the carpet? But always bear in mind the safety aspect.
I drive a Seat Alhambra 1.9Tdi which has 115bhp and an automatic gearbox.

I am happy to help you with all your questions. I am not a qualified mechanic but seem to be better at fixing my car than even the most experienced garages.

I have lots of friends here and very much enjoy talking with you all. Always remember, a motor car is a serious tool and should be treated with respect. Put your safety first, always.

Dear Dave, thank you. Safety is exactly what I am worried about. I put the 3rd row seats in and out and with the kids I would feel more comfortable is the wires are hidden behind some panels ...

There is a dedicated wiring channel that runs from the front of the car to behind the C pillar, under the doors. From there you take it behind the boot trim and up the D pillar.

Is this channel on the left or right side of the car? How can I access the front of the channel?

Theres one on both sides. Its hidden  under the door surrounds, you just unscrew them and remove them to see it. That will take you as far as the front footwells, cable ties will let you route it across to the stereo then.

Youd probably find the passenger side easier as the gaiter on that side for the tailgate has less running through it. If its going on the number plate.
