Hi I have a problem with my car (vw sharan tdi 2001) I can not read out from my VCDs. when I start to test cable write it ok to K2 but K1 is shorted to ground. And there is no radio in it. When I measure between pin 4 and 7 on the connector in your car is 0 volts between them.
Does anyone have a good idea where the error may be. Is there a chart where you can see where the K1 line drive in view the form. The car is a 1.9 tdi 2001 6 gear. Hope there are a few pundits here inside, it comes with the right tip.
Excuse my bad English.  ;D

The usual place the Galaxy has problems with wires is the door pillars - Most likely the front ones and the tailgate, though its worth checking all of them. I'm not sure if the k line would run to the doors, it may do but worth checking all the same.

Typical fault is that the insulation starts breaking off the wires causing all sorts of different faults on the windows, locks, etc.

There are some wiring diagrams about, Most of them are on TIS if you can get access to it, It might help to say what the problem your trying to fix is though (I would assume your trying to fix something other than the k line error when you discovered the error?)
