Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has come across this problem before.

The EGR cooler pipe with the funny clip doesn't seem to be sealing properly. Is there a rubber seal missing ?

How easy is it to change, the pipe on the egr is easy enough, its the pipe on the bulkhead looks tricky.

If itââ,¬â,,¢s is the steel sort of v shaped band clamp then not typically a seal on those it seals by the clip holding the mating faces tight together

Hi,

Yes I need to replace the pipe. How do i remove the pipe at the bulkhead end.

I donââ,¬â,,¢t really know much about these EGR devices. Why do they need cooling?
I drive a Seat Alhambra 1.9Tdi which has 115bhp and an automatic gearbox.

I am happy to help you with all your questions. I am not a qualified mechanic but seem to be better at fixing my car than even the most experienced garages.

FIXED ! FIXED !

It was a rubber o ring that was missing on the inside of the pipe that fits onto the egr
