Length of specific driveshaft for our Galaxy

Hi all

Iââ,¬â,,¢m looking to change the left side drive shaft since the CV joint is starting to knack a lot but Iââ,¬â,,¢m unsure what length it should be? When I look up on auto parts pages I can correctly find the bolted on version that fit my Galaxy 2002 1.9 TDI 6 speed but it comes in different lengths? Is there someway to figure that out before I dismantle it?
