Hi
I am new to this so I would be really grateful for any help.
I have an automatic diesel ford galaxy 2013
Whilst driving, it suddenly becomes lumpy and eventually the engine malfunction light appears with the ABS light and then feels like I am fighting to get acceleration, or against breaking?
As I have children in the car this is beginning to bother me as we could be going 60 and without warning reduce speed.
I have taken it to a mechanic and had the temputure sensor changed then it started again so it went back and had it on the computer and rest it back to factory setting but itââ,¬â,,¢s doing it much more now. Any ideas? Thank you

You need to get the fault codes it generates when faults occur ideally from engine and abs controllers, then you have an idea where to start.

Hi many thanks unfortunately it threw up lots of different codes but donââ,¬â,,¢t know where to start with them all? I canââ,¬â,,¢t afford to try each one until it is the right one just thought someone might have had a similar problem. But thank you

Post up the codes it threw up as there could well be a common link to them all

were the codes you found from the on board diagnostic check?
iirc i had some stored on my smax, they didnt seem to correspond with anything i found on line.
if the codes you have were through the proper ford diagnostic then do as above and post them up.

also iirc the alarm/central locking module needs to power down,so disconnect your battery for about 1/2 hr then run on board diag again,

MAKE sure you have your radio code before doing this.
