Window malfunction

Hi All

My drivers window has stopped working again. When you press the button you hear a slight noise like it's trying to work.   I recently had the loom out of the door and repaired all broken wires.  I can look at those again but has anyone any ideas before I strip the door down?.

If you had the wires done and it clicks, its probably a fault in the regulator itself.

Thanks Christian - the noise is more of a squeak than a click - but it definitely comes from the door/regulator area.
