Anyone done spark plug threads with Helicoils?

As the title - Has anyone had or done a replacement spark plug thread on the 2.3 with a helicoil, and if so how much of a pain was it to do?

I recall from taking the cylinder head off the mk1 that it was more of a pain than I'd expected due to the way it was held to the chassis etc.
