hello house, pls my ford galaxy 2.3 engine move sluglishly when I try to accelerate, and always giving a shooting sound. pls any help?

Is this shooting like a popping sound? If so it sounds like a misfire, Might be spark plugs, leads or the coil pack at fault.

If you can get hold of an obd reader thats compatible it might be logging a misfire code - if so that may help to narrow down the problem, your description is a bit vague without further info to be sure what your saying the problem is, so might be worth looking there first (I'd suggest removing the ht lead covers and check there isn't anything obviously wrong there - leads off, cover full of water etc).

Mine has a seperate coil pack of the right hand side of the engine, I think (but not seen it personally) that some have the coil packs under the top covers, and those ones are more prone to problems.
