just lost indicators for left hand turn. none of the bulbs come on and no clicking. right hand turn works fine. replace all bulbs but still no joy. could it be the switch itself. this is on 2002 galaxy ghia 1.9tdi

Does sound like an indicator relay problem, now for the bad news.

The indicator relay is really two relays in one so don't think because the right side is working OK that the relay is OK
The indicator relay is hidden inside the main fuse box it's not easily accessible as you need to dismantle the fuse box to get at it, it is also soldered to the main board so you need to be handy with a small soldering iron if your going to try replacing it

Easier option is to change the complete fuse box.

have found out since that the flasher is clicking very fast just none of the lights work even one one dash .

As above sounds like a fuse box change job
