Electric windows.

on my galaxy ghia 2002 the only windows that will open is the drivers window and the back seat on passenger side. that window only opens fron drivers control but will close by its own switch. have taken one apart and repaired wires but that still doesnt open. have power to it but no up and down. also are the windows suppose to go up and down hen you hold key in lock or unlock position as mine does this as i have to unlock door from passenger side.

yeah its called global opening/closing,if you hold the key in unlock/lock position it will raise or lower the windows.

sounds like you have wiring problems,you will have to check ALL door gaitors and in the rear hatch for broken wires.
