Iââ,¬â,,¢ve got the chance to buy a Sharan with an oil pump failure.
Itââ,¬â,,¢s an ââ,¬Ëœ05 and high mileage (ex-taxi)

How much effort is it to replace the oil pump? Or is it just better off replacing engine.

Or just breaking it?
Itââ,¬â,,¢s in a good nick, full leathers, the lot.

If the oil pump has failed it has almost certainly damaged the engine,best bet is replace the engine in my opinion.

Probably better off breaking it I guess?

Anyone want to buy a set of leathers for there Shalhambraxy?
I think 2 are kid-seat options, too, Iââ,¬â,,¢ll double check on that.

Depends how much a reasonable engine will set you back if you can find one, and if you want to fit it yourself what you've got to do so. Rear seats if they are decent are easily removed, never removed the front ones. Lots of other saleable bits there.

You might be able to pick up one with a failed gearbox or similar, and make one out of the two? Depends how much its going to set you back to what its worth to you as well (even working order its still a 13 year old car with lots of miles on it)
