Evening all,
Just a quick question when cam shafts are changed does the cam belt have to come off and would it need replacing.I'm asking as I've recently had the cams replaced but theres a rattle on the drivers side of the engine and I asked the garage could it be an idler but they told me the cam belt didn't  have to come off when changing cams I'm now worried they may of put old parts back on. thanks in advance.

Not familiar with that engine but it is quite possible the cams can be locked in position and the cams slid out without disturbing the belt
