Every thing OK on the galaxy but after coming back from a long run my main radiator fan does not stop until I disconnect the battery.
As soon as I switch the ignition on it starts again and does not stop.
I have changed the controller unit 95vw8c616ba (7mo000317c) and still the same.

Coolant fan switches can be in the radiator or in the top radiator hose.

Check for wires broken off switches or corrosion as an open circuit will cause this.

This is a 2.8 v6 24 valve the train of thought at the moment is temperature sensor, I can not see anything on the radiator so I presume its on the block.
Or its a relay somewhere but I cannot identify the correct items to look at them.

Try number 8 on the attached - halfway up the radiator on the nearside of the car?

As far as i know the relay is contained in the controller - The box bolted to the front of the car near the battery/engine fusebox. So i'd guess you've already changed that bit from your first post.
