Help to identify hose in question

Please can anyone help me to identify hose visible in attached pic. Picture is from MK1 behind the right hand side front wheel. There seems to be some oil leakage coming from the pipe and would like to change it however not sure if it is related to climate control which makes it little bit more challenging.

I'm not that familiar with the Mk1 but that looks very much like the PAS pipe for power steering. If it was a.c. related then a leak big enough to see would have disabled the system.

Yes, as Mirez says, it the power steering pipe from the pump back to the steering rack.
