Colour compatibility

Hi all, I was wondering if the VW black (LO41) would be the same as the galaxy black? Solid black I think its called?
Can anyone confirm this

Although they are produced in the same factory I believe the pain finish is of the manufacturer so vw black is different to ford black

Yeah sadly they are different. Ford's magic black is less metallic and richer then VWs although it's reasonably close when side by side. Guess it depends what you are planning on swapping!

Both the passenger side doors Mirez. I've possibly found a black galaxy at a breakers that I used to work in. Magic black isn't the only black on the mk2 galaxy though is it. My dad's is solid black (non metallic)

I'd actually forgotten the solid black as you don't see many of them about.

Last time I wanted to check a colour I removed the panel that clips on below the rear taillights from the car and took it along with me!
