During the cold snap, my car did not start I had to jump lead it. I believe the battery needs replacing. The fitted one is VARTA 12V 70 Ah, length 278mm. the measurement of the battery try is 370mm. shall I buy the 70Ah or the 80Ah or the 90 Ah

For normal usage 70 to 80 amp/hr or 650 to 700 cold cranking amps

Have a look at these examples. http://www.batterymegastore.co.uk/wizard/Car+Battery+Finder/results/

With VCDS lite (full version) need a code clearing or want to scan for faults in the north kent area, PM me. All for a pint of Strongbow.

I nipped to Halfrauds, they did a free drop test on my old one, although the test was inconclusive I told them to stick a new one in (their model #, HCB096 CLICKY), not cheap at just under a Ã,£100, but a 4 yr warranty and no problems since.
My other car is a 480 hp Volvo.

If you want a Premium battery the Bosch S5013 is the biggest that fits. I paid Ã,£94.50 mail order from Autospares back in March.
