No speedo, indicators, ABS and low fuel warnings but car drives like normal

Long drive home last night with no snags - set off this morning and got ABS warning light and intermittent low fuel warnings (still had over 1/4 tank) and brakes worked fine. Since noticed that the blower unit isn't working (no display or function) and neither are the indicators.
Systems all seem to go through Fuse 3 and on checking, this had blown however replacement fuse blew almost immediately.

Car did see a bit of frost on Friday/Saturday night before long drive and went through a couple of big puddles and some thick fog on the way back on Sunday.

Waiting for a visit from auto-electrician but wondered if anyone on FordMPV land had had similar and (more importantly) had a fix?  ::)

I know this post is old but I had the same symptoms and for the record, a replacement LHS front abs(double) cable cured the problems, including the fuel gauge bouncing and beeping, speedo etc.
