Ok, so I've had this relay thingy going click, click  ...... clicking in my ear for a while now and it's been driving me bluddy nuts.

I recon it's something to do with the AC system ....  ?

So today I got one a replacement from the scrappy in the post. Now all I need to do is fit it.

If there is any help to be had by way of a diagram or pictures? I'd sure be grateful 'cause it looks like at first glance that grey panel and center console stuff is going to have to come away.

Ok, I now know what it is and does ... well kind of. Anyways I now need to take down the lower half of the dash to get to it and replace with my new one.

Would anyone know how I go about doing that without a lot of unnessessery work or me breaking stuff.

I read your posts in the other place earlier but updated java and now can't access it.... IIRC you mentioned moving a wire made it click? If the problem is in the wiring close to the relay, or in the relay itself,maybe there's enough good wire to clip the old one off and attach the new one to the end - or maybe just find and fix the break.    As you've already managed to fish the relay out might be quicker than doing it "properly" . If you do do it that way, I'd stick the relay to something somehow if you can't get it back where it came from.    (  If I'm wrong about moving a wire causing the click, are you sure the clicking isn't the relay responding correctly to something happening elsewhere?)
