I need to remove the wiper arms to change the screen, and guess what ... yep seized solid
I bought two tools after soaking with wd40 for about a week (both of the common types of removal tool) and they've not been able to budge it either, I even bent the spindly little arm that you turn to pull the arm away ... so i'm out of ideas now, any help appreciated

With mine I just pushed and pulled on the arm between the pivot and spindle attachment and they eventually popped.

Try some heat on there - blow torch or hot air gun. Can be surprisingly effective.
I'd rather be on Orkney!

Thanks, I got it off by doing the following, I clamped up as tight as i could with a wiper removal tool so there was pressure on the arm, applied heat and it came off with easy !
