Hi,

Our air con does not work, in a 2002 sharan, manual air con, AUY. We did a gas check, no leaks, and these are the fault codes:
01271 positioning motor for temperature flap (v68)
01189 front air distribution flap motor (v145)

I have a pal, who can take the dashboard apart and put it together, but unfortunately he does not know the part numbers for this motors, and there is no point to take it apart if we do not have the replacement.
I have tried to find them, and I have these (maybe):
7M4907511C
7M3907511H

Is there anyone who knows the part numbers?

Thanks :)

Have you tried a reset first?

You can disconnect the panel leave for 10 minutes and re connect, also if you have vcds you can reset the motors so controller re-learns their position. I had a problem with blend flap motor on mine when I first purchased it,replaced motor and was still same until I reset on vcds.

If it is motor fault with yours I think I still have a spare you can have for cost of postage.

Just out of interest....
Did it work before hand or has it stopped working after a re gas of the air con system?

I'm only asking as when I reattached a a/c pipe and went for the air con recharge the guy doing it put in the full amount for a rear air con galaxy and because my car was front air con only it wouldn't work.

When I asked him to reset it to the lower amount of 750g instead of 1000g he put in the air con burst into life.

Hi

johnnyroper,
which panel should I disconnect for a while? We'll try the reset thing, thanks

it did not work before, my first tought was a leak, and asked the garage to check the leaks with refill.
