Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum! I have a 2001 Galaxy 2.3 petrol. Recently the blower heater switch stopped working in positions 1,2,3 and only works in position 4.

Any ideas?

Many thanks.

Dave

Resistor.  Behind glove box.  You can get one on Ebay.  About Ã,£10 just make sure you buy the one for the front heater and not the rear heater.  Only takes 15 minutes to change.

Video on YouTube.  Be careful think there is a parts difference between manual ac resistor and digital ac resistor .

Also check condition of pollen filter,it's fiddly to get out so may aswell change it. If it's blocked the air flow through will be low so can cause overheatingnof resistor.
