Hi,Iv been to a garage to have my tracking done and the righ side tie rod is bent, the advised to have both inner and outer done,Iv had a look on a site and they carry two types one is I guess normal and the other says fastening type suspended, how do I tell which I have?

Just buy a complete tie rod with track rod end and nut Your looking at Ã,£20 for a cheap one and upto Ã,£45 for a pukka one.

Thank you again buddy,
I ended up ordering from eurowhatsit as it worked out much cheeper with the discount they are running and they will swop it if Iv ordered the wrong one,Iv also ordered one of those removel tools that look like an exhaust bracket, fingers crossed it all works out and fingers crossed that it for a while 😔

Nice big adjustable spanner or stilsons for the inner tie rod.  Iirc 22mm or 24mm for the track rod lock nut and 19mm socket for track rod nut.  Cut the old rod  in half with an angle grinder and re use the boot.

If the tie rods don't come with new boots it's well worth replacing them if the state of mine was anything to go by. One side spilt the other side perished and cracking you will find they most likely get damaged of messing with them to fit new rods. Ã,£13 for a pair from local motor factors.
Count the turns of track rod end on old rods to get new ones about right but you will need to get tracking adjusted properly after.
