Hi yesterday evening while accelerating my 2007 MK3 Galaxy 1.8L Engine lost all turbo power and lots of black smoke. I pulled over and found that on the left hand side Intercooler to EGR pipe the section of pipe where the temp sensor mounts onto had come off leaving the sensor detached and a 2 inch circular hole in the pipe. I managed to temporarily tape it back on with ducktape but im still getting a whistling sound when accelerating so I need to get a new pipe. From checking the ford parts online it seems the replacement pipe no longer has a place for the sensor to mount and that the sensor gets removed and some calibration involved by Ford.I thought I might see some of the original pipes on ebay or breakers yards but I havent found one for left side ( can find lots for the right hand side ).

Any other ideas where I might get a second hand pipe like original or if I obtained the newer replacement pipe (without sensor mounting ) would I actually need to get ford to remove the sensor and recalibrate or could I just attach it to the side of the pipe or would it cause other issues. Is it only a temp sensor.See pic attached of the pipe I need .Thanks for any help
