Drivers door electrics all dead

Hi All..New Member,so be kind, Just purchased 53 plate 1.9tdi ghia galaxy,and various electric problems with wiring harness in each door having broken wires,all resoldered and fixed (all working now) apart from all electrics in driver door,cannot operate the windows,mirror adjuster not working,no speakers,no alarm,no central locking..so no power to door is obvious.It did work when I collected car,drove 10 miles home,still worked for a while,then dead.Checked wires behind the rubber gaiter,anywhere else i should look at???many thx Steve

I take it all wiring in drivers door is free from damage? There are a lot of things not working have you checked the socket on A post to make sure none of the contact blocks have pushed back inside it?

Hi Again...Update on dead drivers door...Have power to windows now,but central locking is still only locking dtivers door and tailgate via remote..any other ideas,perhaps I've missed a broken wire somewhere,or could it be something differt now...rgds Steve

Personally I would say the fault still lies with door wiring as the module is sending lock signal out to doors.
