Hello!

Some buttons of my Galaxy's Multi-functional window switches (driver's side, non UK version) has broken and must be entirely replaced.
The part number is 7M5 959 857 B

I've just ordered from aliexpress a part that looks like this one, 1J4959857D for only €6,12. It fits Passat, Jetta
But now I'm in doubts! I think I'm going to cancel it because there are some similar partes with these numbers.
1J4959857B.

Possibly the connectors are different or the led colors. In Galaxy MK2 button led colour is green.

Can somebody help me?

For only 6 Euro is it not worth just taking a chance with it?
From my experience vw parts like that are quite often very similar if not the same electrical connection across several models. You may be able to use it to swap bits from to repair yours or just fit the whole thing.
Would it bother you if the illumination was a different colour?

End of the story:
I had to order a different part, with a 13 pin connector.

Part number: 7M6959857
Mine is 7M6959857B

The only problem is that the left button opens the right window and the right one opens the driver's window ...
But it's fine ... not super-fine ... but fine.
I'm going to change the new electronic circuit with the old one.

I'llm give you knews.

Is it definitely the switches?
I've soldered new "link" wires into at least 10 of the wires in my door jams where there were breakages...
Poor quality wire used!
