Speaker connection

Changed door loom on drivers door on my 2005 ghia
When connecting up speaker there is 2 connections does it mater which one to use
I works but sounds like it has blown which it did before I changed the loom
But checking if it matters which one to connect to for when I replace the speaker

No they are connected together on the speaker anyway so makes zero difference, its just a pass through for the tweeter.
