So the problem started after the heater matrix had been leaking, so i replaced it and i guess after i bled the system i didnt bleed it properly because it wasnt blowing hot air in the cabin and started overheating. Soon we realised the thermostat was stuck closed (the bottom radiator pipe was cold when the engine was too hot even),after replacing it still didnt blow warm air properly(only at high rpms under load and not idle) so we bled the heater matrix properly and now the car is overheating again and the thermostat opens when the temp gauge was at the mark just before the red(aka 3/4 ) so has anyone got an idea what could be wrong. The oil doesnt look like its coolanty and no vapors out of the exhaust so im guessing the head gasket is fine.

Check the small plastic restrictor in small bite return to header tank, these can block up and stop air bleeding out of engine.
Also try getting hot and carefully removing cap and leave off overnight.
