My 2011 s-max xenon headlight level control fails. Both lights search level almost all the time. Forscan lite does not see error codes!
Service manual says that i need to visit Ford dealer  if i unplug level sensors for measuring..
Does anyone had same kind of problems?

Mika

Xenon lights DO level continuously, its sort of the point! Unless they are hunting from one extremity to the other then I dont think you have a fault

I manages to got error code (by Forscan) from rear level sensor (HCM DTC C1A05). Local Ford dealer change it to new one and did reinitialization.

What I get from that is that now I get this same error every time when I start the car. So the problem was not the sensor!

Now the question is where is that HCM DTC module in S-MAX. I need to measure wiring to rear sensor.

Any info is wellcome
