Rear passenger door unlocking whilst others lock and vice versa!

Our rear passenger door lock stopped working. We followed the excellent instructions on here as to how to remove the lock and clean the motor. The motor now works to activate the lock, but we have a new problem. On locking the car with the fob, the rear door unlocks. When unlocking the car with the fob, the rear door locks.

What have we done wrong?

We have tried disconnecting the battery for 15 mins, and also reprogramming the key/locking by turning the ignition key to position II four times to enter the programming mode. 

Any advice would be appreciated.
