Hi fellas, I have a weird intermittent fault which causes the dash to chime a message to be displayed and the engine management light to pop on. BUT less then a second later it all dissapears and the touran is back to normal. Its done this on a few occations now and once it starts doing it then it will do it for the rest of the journey seemingly every 8 minutes (got my son to time it) but restart will generally stop it doing it.

Its too quick to read the message that the dash displays and vcds shows no faults with anything except the AC system. I cleared them after last time and it was fine for 3 weeks but its now back so I think it has something to do with the problem. Any advice welcome!

I'm speculating here but those fault codes could indicate an issue with the heater control panel itself (which I assume has the control module integrated into it) or an intermittent wiring fault. I was initially thinking that there may be a fault with the air con compressor but the other fault codes relate to the auxiliary heater, therefore I'd be looking at the control ecu / panel or wiring responsible for overall control of the heating/ cooling system rather than specific individual components. I may be wrong though!
