Thought I'd see how many special edition ones were out there. Post what you have seen!

This is my old ambulance which sadly met its demise recently in the storms

I like the look of it in performance blue, never seen one in reality, there can't be many of 'em out there! Similar in colour to Ford's imperial blue that featured on the Mk2 Mondeo ST200 and a few others. I have seen a few late Mk2 Gals in a nice (darker) shade of blue that Ford called 'jeans', quite like that as a colour as well.

As for 'special' Galaxies, I'm pretty sure VOSA had a few Mk2's which used to come into the workshop from time to time, I seem to recall a recall (boom boom) for modification to the curtain airbag wiring as they had been incorrectly wired in the factory when built, which in the result of a crash and airbag deployment meant that the wrong side curtain airbag would go off!  ???

Very similar or even might be imperial the ST220 was performance blue but TBH there isn't much between them.

I also remember that recall, it was the facelift 03/53 ones that had it including mine!

Come across some of those light pole fitted ones when attending scenes and you wouldnt believe how much light they throw out :)

Anyone see this RS engined Mk3?
