 Ok folks

New to the site, I'm just after some advice from some experts!

I've got a vw 06 2.0tdi Sharan with an electric window fault. When it was frosty the other morning I pressed my window down and it was stuck. I assumed it had come out of the holding clamps but when i stripped it down it hadn't. The switch is working but the hazards flash now when i press the switch. I thought id burnt the motor out so after spending Ã,£40 on a new assembly I'm still getting the same fault. The other window works fine as does everything else.

Thanks Smurf

Check the wiring in rubber boot where it comes out of A post to door, sounds like typical wiring fault where they break and short out to me.
