First off i'll say a big Thank You to anyone that can help with the info.

Thinking about having my cylinder head gasket replaced but wanting to buy all parts needed so I only have to pay for labour/skim and pressure test at local garage so need a full list of what is needed together with part numbers plus which is best brands to go for.

2002 1.9 Diesel AUY

Dave

Off the top of my head,
Oil,
Oil filter,
Coolant,
Timing belt (water pump and tensioner?)
Engine head bolts (they're probably stretch bolts that have to be renewed)
Exhaust and inlet gaskets?
Camshaft cover gasket?
Oh yeah, and a headgasket.

Probably a few others that I can't think of right now

Add to that thermostat

Get head gasket kit as everything in there including rocker gasket.

If having skimmed you will also need camshaft cap bolts.
Injector seals, injector hold down bolts and rocker arm bolts as they are all torque to yield. Expensive to buy about Ã,£100 But they are needed as one time use only. I have a set of Bosch seals, injector bolts and rocker bolts you can have for Ã,£50 posted if you want them.

Get a couple of meters or 3mm and 4mm vac hose and change them all while head is off as they perish over time.
Also worth changing the air and fuel filter while it's in bits.
Plenty of carb cleaner to clean egr valve and inlet while off the car.

WOW thxs for the great offer but I've decided to leave it all up to the garage, could you guys give me a price for a good job all round.

Srry for the slow response guys :)

Srry I meant a ball park figure of what id have to pay for a good job.

All depends where you take it but with parts, pressure test and labour costs I would estimate Around the Ã,£700 mark

Parts alone are roughly Ã,£400
