mk1 galaxy door open warning light beeping and flashing

afternoon all.

so been plane sailing for months, and as soon as its got cold the dash display keeps telling me that the passenger rear door is open and its flashes on an off and the annoying beep everytime! if I open the door it goes off,  all the wires in the door jam look ok, havnt striped it all back yet to get a good look, I'm presuming that the switch is in the lock its self? so maybe just a new/used lock would do or just the wore that feed the dash warning disconnected

Is it actually a Mk1 or a Mk2 Galaxy that you've got? On my Mk2 the rear door ajar switch is at the rear of the door opening low down on the chassis:

thanks for that, yes sorry she is a MK2, and don't know how I missed the switch been there. disconnected for mow until a new one is bought
